Uterine Balloon Therapy
Excessive menstrual bleeding is a relatively common occurence in many healthy women, especially as they
approach menopause. This therapy system utilizes a balloon catheter inflated with hot, sterile fluid to remove the
endometrial (orinner) lining of the uterus and reduce the flow. The system is designed for premenopausal women
whose excessive bleeding is due to benign causes and who have completed childbearing.
It is completed in less than 10 minutes.
